1. What can I do at RafflesStreet?
RafflesStreet is an online marketplace where sellers meet buyers. Sellers can set up online stores and post their products for sale. Buyers can find the products they want and contact their seller to place order. Each store is operated by its owner.


2. Is RafflesStreet a free online service?
Yes. Registration is FREE for both sellers and buyers.


3. What are the most important concerns when use RafflesStreet?
Be safe, be legal.
For example, meet your deal partner at a public place, in daytime.  Or accompanied by your friends or parents.


4. How to reduce the chance of dispute?
Be honest when post an item or negotiate with your partner. Hiding flaws of your products will result in dispute late on.


5. What kind of items can be posted on RafflesStreet?
Fist, must be legal in Singapore. Please also refer to "Terms of Service".


For Sellers

1. What can I get when I register a store?
- A shared search engine
- A shared Shopping Cart
- Facility for you to upload, edit, remove products
- Group your product into Store collections

- Broadcast email messages to fans of the store

2. How to make a store hot?
- An attractive store logo
- A concise biz description
- Clear product photos. Better 500x500 pixels or more
- A short but descriptive product name
- Detailed product description (English + Chinese). Why do you recommend this product.
- EASY to contact you! (mobile phone + email + ...)
- Market you store! Send the link (URL) to your friends. You may find this in your store's profile.
- Keep updating your products regularly. Latest posted/changed products always appear first in many pages.
- Use promotions.
- Tag your products properly. Always use RELEVANT tags
- Read and reply comments on your products.


3. What is tagging? How to tag a product properly?
Tags are REVELANT keywords to your products. Add tags to a product is important. It enables the search engine to find your products among the thousands items. Tags are keywords, in English or Chinese, separated by commas. E.g. Korean, dress, pink, cotton, sexy, lovely, cute, 韩版, 上衣, 连衣裙, 可爱, 性感, 淑女, etc. It is better to use SINGLE words separated by commas. Try to use hot tags for your products. You can add the Tags when you post new products or edit existing products.


4. Why shall I update my products regularly?
This make your products appear first again. The default sorting order of most pages is: last posted/changed products appear first.
